Locksmith Bedfordshire is Gabriel. It has been since 2015. The work is run out of Flitwick and covers most of the county — Ampthill, Bedford, Luton, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard and the towns around them.

What we do

Most calls are one of four things: someone locked out, a key snapped or spinning, a uPVC or composite door that won't lock, or a property that needs securing after a break-in. That's the work we're set up for and the work we're quick at.

We don't push key cutting or car keys — there are people who do that all day and do it better. If you ask, we'll point you to one.

How pricing works

The quote is free and no-obligation. Call and you get the likely price on the phone before anyone drives out — a best case and a worst case, with the reason it might land at either end. Send a photo of the lock and that estimate gets a lot tighter. If you decide not to go ahead once we've seen it, there's nothing to pay.

Prices are a bounded range with a reason, never a vague "starting from" figure. What moves you along the range is real: whether the lock opens without damage or has to be drilled, the cost of a replacement part, the security rating of a new lock. See the services and pricing page for the figures.

What you can expect

• Non-destructive entry wherever the lock allows it — drilling is a last resort.
• Good-quality replacement locks: anti-snap cylinders and BS-rated locks where they fit.
• The door checked so it locks properly before we leave, and the mess cleared up.
• An honest answer when it's a job you could do yourself.
